This accelerated, 15-hour bootcamp is your way to stand out to employers and transition confidently into a career in Nevada's growing electric vehicle and battery industry. While other students are off campus, you'll be securing a competitive advantage for your future.

What You'll Learn During the Bootcamp

This weeklong program directly addresses skill gaps identifed by Nevada's top hiring companies, focusing on three key factors: 

  • Professional Communication and Credibility
    • Practice contributing effectively in meetings, giving and receiving constructive feedback, and understanding organizational norms that accelerate career growth and build credibility in your first 90 days.
  • Emotional Intelligence (EQ) for the Workplace
    • Learn to recognize, manage, and use your emotional intelligence to adapt to early career pressures and navigate complex team dynamics in the workplace.
  • Direct Industry Connection and Hiring Advantage
    • The bootcamp includes mock interviews with local hiring managers, providing direct freedback and worthwile connections.

By the end of the bootcamp, you'll not only understand the culture and expections of modern workplaces, but you'll also be equipped with the confidence and interpersonal skills to thrive from your first day on the job.

  • On Friday, March 27, enjoy a networking lunch and mock interviews with hiring managers from some of the area's top companies in the battery and critical materials industry.
    • Please note: To be eligable to attend Friday's networking lunch and mock interviews, you must be present throughout the weeklong course.
